EBRO s800, official car of the Donosti Cup 2025

Grupo Carza Gipuzkoa renews its partnership for the third consecutive year and presents EBRO as the new official mobility brand of the tournament.

28 de May de 2025

After featuring the Omoda 5 in 2024 and the Peugeot 408 in 2023, this year’s official car of the Donosti Cup will be the EBRO s800, a locally manufactured SUV that symbolizes the rebirth of a historic Spanish brand. Thanks to the renewed agreement with Grupo Carza Gipuzkoa, the tournament organization will have a fleet of electric and hybrid vehicles to ensure sustainable mobility throughout the week.

EBRO, relaunched in 2023 in collaboration with Chinese group Chery, produces its models in the former Nissan plant in Barcelona, promoting local manufacturing and job creation in Spain. The s800, the SUV chosen as the tournament’s flagship vehicle, stands out for its modern design, advanced technology, and petrol or plug-in hybrid engine options.

Grupo Carza Gipuzkoa, which previously provided Peugeot and Omoda vehicles in past editions, continues to support the Donosti Cup as a platform for innovation and commitment to the future of the automotive industry. With dealerships in Oiartzun, Olaberria, and Eibar, and a wide range of brands such as Peugeot, Kia, Lancia, Leapmotor, Omoda, Jaecoo, and MG, the group is once again actively collaborating with the tournament by supplying vehicles for the organization’s use.

In the photo, Carlos Arregui, manager of Grupo Carza Gipuzkoa, and Iñigo Olaizola, director of the Donosti Cup, seal the agreement for this new edition, once again uniting sport, sustainability, and local industry.
