Feel the spirit of the Donosti Cup right on the Boulevard!
From July 7 to 12, Donosti Cup Topagunea will turn the Boulevard into a celebration of sport and diversity. In collaboration with Donostia Kirola, this space invites all tournament participants, locals, and visitors to come and enjoy the event
Topagunea offers a wide range of activities open to everyone: sports challenges, interactive games, exhibitions, and live broadcasts from Donosti Cup TV.
All teams are invited to take part in creating the big mosaic “Donosti Cup in the World”: take a photo, find yourself in last year’s pictures, and leave a message for the future to leave your mark on the tournament’s history.
You’ll also be able to take part in skill challenges with JOMA and VOON, try traditional Basque sports, visit the trophy exhibition, pose next to the giant globe, and try to beat the ball touch record. Each day will feature interviews, quizzes, TikToks, and surprises from the Donosti Cup TV set.
To celebrate the 5th anniversary of the Donosti Authentics Cup, the space will host a special photo exhibition highlighting inclusion and diversity in sports.
- Going for the Guinness World Record: Xabi Mendiluze at Topagunea this Thursday
On Thursday at 5:00 PM, local Xabi Mendiluze will come to Topagunea with the goal of breaking the Guinness World Record for ball touches, holding an open training session on the Boulevard. Visitors can watch him train and join in the ball challenges throughout the day.
This initiative adds to the usual challenge at the space, started last year by freestyler Javi Sanz, who invited visitors to beat the local ball touch record.
Topagunea is the result of Donostia Kirola and Donosti Cup’s commitment to promoting sports in the city and bringing major sporting events like the Donosti Cup closer to the whole community.
