It is more and more difficult to announce the participation of a new country in the Donosti Cup. This is because until now, teams from more than 50 different countries have already participated and it is not easy to increase this list. So, when a team from a new country announces its participation in the tournament for the very first time, these are such great news we celebrate in style.

This time, we are pleased to announce the participation of Tunisia at the 2020 Donosti Cup, a country in the north of Africa, between Argelia and Libya, and that will be at the number 54 in the ranking of countries of the tournament. It seems this is not going to be the only country participating for the first time in the 2020 Donosti Cup because we are in touch with some clubs of unprecedented countries in the tournament that may confirm their participation soon.

From this African country, two clubs have already confirmed their participation: the All Generation Football Academy and the Campione Club Academy. The first one, is an Academy in the capital of the country working with the Coerver method: a training program created by the Dutch coach Wiel Coerver, searching for the technical excellence of their players, and having academies in numerous countries. This Academy will participate in the 2020 Donosti Cup with two B10 teams. Their responsible, Mounir Ouederni, visited us some weeks ago and he visited the main scenarios where the Donosti Cup is hold. During Mounir visit, he explained us the training method they follow in their Academy. He also explained us that they participated in the Gothia Cup five years ago and that they lost the B13 final against Antiguoko KE, a club from San Sebastian having the record of victories in the Donosti Cup. The second club, the Campione Club Academy, has been recently registered and they will participate with two teams also, 1 B10 and 1 B12.

We welcome warmly both clubs and we hope that their first experience in the Donosti Cup was really positive.
