"LaLiga" club academies confirm their participation in the Donosti Cup 2025
Real Sociedad, FC Barcelona, and Real Madrid will be represented in the Donosti Cup 2025 with teams from their international academies.
The expansion and internationalization process of clubs from LaLiga contributes to the growth of the Donosti Cup. In each edition, more teams from the international academies of these LaLiga clubs participate in the tournament.
In 2025, for example, Real Sociedad aims to enter around 10 teams from its academies in Japan, Ghana, and the USA. FC Barcelona will do so with teams from its Mexico, USA, and Nigeria academies. Real Madrid will also be present at the Donosti Cup with teams from its academies in Japan.
These teams usually use the opportunity of participating in the Donosti Cup to carry out previous stages with the clubs they belong to, including training sessions, visits to the stadiums, and other experiences that help them to strengthen their affective links with the clubs they aspire to play for one day.
Registration for the Donosti Cup 2025 is still open. The tournament, which will be held from July 7 to 13, continues attracting the interest of top-level academies that do not want to miss out on this global grassroots soccer event.
