The 4th edition of the Donosti Authentics Cup will take place from July 1st to 3rd, 2024
After the success of the last edition, the organization seeks to increase the number of participants and countries represented.
Last year's edition of the Donosti Authentics Cup included the first team from the American continent, which meant opening the borders even more. To date, inclusive teams from Spain, France and England, such as Real Sociedad, Eibar, Leganés, Levante and Newcastle, had already participated.
On this occasion, the tournament will take place from July 1 to 3. The first day, marked by the arrivals and the delivery of accreditations, will kick off a few days full of soccer and excitement. The second day will host the first matches, and in the evening, the eagerly awaited Opening Ceremony. The third and final day will be the culmination of the tournament, with the last matches and the awards ceremony.
Proud of having created this project, the organization highlights the importance of enriching the values promoted by the Donosti Cup.
The Donosti Authentics Cup is not only a soccer tournament, but a space that seeks to normalize the practice of sports for people with intellectual disabilities, transmit values of inclusion to the young players and motivate other clubs to form their own inclusive teams.
To participate in the tournament, a minimum of 12 players and a maximum of 25 players per team are required. Players must have a minimum intellectual disability of 33%.
