The countdown is over. The Donosti Cup 2026 will celebrate its eagerly awaited Opening Ceremony today at Amenabar Arena (Illunbe), which is exceptionally hosting the tournament's most iconic event this year due to the expansion works at Anoeta Stadium.
To accommodate the venue's capacity and provide the best possible experience, the ceremony will be held in two sessions, at 6:30 pm and 9:30 pm. Thousands of players, coaches, family members and fans will enjoy a one-hour show featuring live music, choreographed performances, an impressive light and sound production, and the traditional Parade of Delegations, in which one team from each club will represent its country or region. The ceremony will also feature performances by Bombai and Süne, providing the soundtrack to one of the most special nights of the week.
Those unable to attend in person will also be able to experience the excitement of the ceremony from anywhere in the world. The event will be streamed live and free of charge on CHUTapp, both via its website and its iOS and Android applications.
