Süne and Bombai to perform at the Donosti Cup Opening Ceremony
The Basque singer and the Spanish pop band will perform at a spectacular event welcoming thousands of participants from around the world on July 7 at Amenabar Arena (Illunbe).
Donosti Cup 2026 is getting closer, and one of the tournament's most anticipated events will feature two special musical guests. Süne and Bombai will headline the Opening Ceremony, which will take place on July 7 at Amenabar Arena (Illunbe), officially welcoming the thousands of players taking part in the 34th edition of the tournament.
Due to the ongoing expansion works at Anoeta Stadium, this year's ceremony will be held at Illunbe, where two sessions will be organized to ensure that all participating teams can enjoy this unique experience. The traditional Parade of Nations will once again be the heart of the event, bringing together cultures, languages and flags from dozens of countries in a vibrant celebration of the international spirit that defines the Donosti Cup.
Music will play a leading role throughout the ceremony. Süne, one of the most prominent artists in the Basque music scene, and Bombai, a band renowned for its upbeat songs and feel-good atmosphere, will provide the soundtrack to an unforgettable show featuring live performances, dance, spectacular lighting effects and plenty of surprises.
The event will also feature performances by dancer Irati González, gymnasts from Club Donosti and dancers from Bamboo Dance, creating a spectacular production designed to offer players, families and fans an unforgettable welcome.
The Opening Ceremony will officially kick off a week in which sport, friendship and cultural exchange will once again turn San Sebastián into a meeting point for thousands of young people from all over the world. A celebration that, year after year, perfectly reflects the true spirit of the Donosti Cup.
