Batu, official match ball by Joma Sport for Donosti Cup 2026
The ball will be used in nearly 3,000 matches across more than 60 fields in Gipuzkoa and surrounding areas this summer.
Donosti Cup 2026 now has its official match ball. The brand Joma Sport has exclusively designed the ball Batu, whose name —meaning “to unite” in Basque— reflects the spirit of an edition that will once again bring together thousands of young footballers from around the world. The ball will feature throughout the 34th edition of the tournament, which will take place this summer across more than 60 fields in Gipuzkoa, Navarra, Lapurdi and, for the first time, also in Bizkaia.
The ball stands out for its quality and performance. It is made with state-of-the-art materials and features a 12-panel structure with waterproof seams, ensuring durability without adding unnecessary weight. Its finish provides an optimal touch for precise striking.
In terms of design, the ball features a print in blue and pink tones on a white background, ensuring visibility during play. It also carries the FIFA Quality certification, confirming its suitability for high-level competition.
This launch reflects the identity of Donosti Cup 2026, which under the motto “United by Football” celebrates the tournament’s ability to bring together people from different backgrounds and cultures through the game. The retro-futuristic aesthetic of the ball symbolizes the combination of the tournament’s history and its forward-looking vision towards new generations.
To mark the launch, a video has been produced in which Batu travels across different locations in Gipuzkoa, highlighting the territorial dimension of the tournament and its presence throughout the region.
