The Donosti Cup 2026 Groups Are Now Available!
The 912 participating teams now know their opponents following the official group draw.
The Donosti Cup 2026 groups have now been published and are available on our website and app. Following the official draw, the 912 teams from 31 countries now know their opponents for the opening stage of the tournament.
The draw was organised into three pots: a first pot for international teams, a second pot for national teams, and a third pot for local teams. The aim was to balance the composition of the groups and promote both sporting and cultural diversity. Each group consists of 4 or 5 teams, and in most cases the presence of at least one international team has been guaranteed.
In certain categories (B14, B15, B16, B18 and G16), teams from schools have been grouped together during the opening stage in order to ensure greater competitive balance.
During the group stage, each team will play a minimum of 3 or 4 matches, depending on the number of teams in its group. At the end of this stage, the competition will continue through two pathways: Playoff A (Champions League), for the first- and second-placed teams; and Playoff B (Europa League), for the third- and fourth-placed teams.
The groups can already be viewed on the official Donosti Cup website, as well as on the tournament app available for iOS and Android. Through these channels, you will also be able to follow all updated tournament information, including matches, results, standings and schedules, which will be published progressively over the coming days.
Next week, the official group stage schedule will be released, featuring the full match allocation, followed by the final stage schedule the week after.
With less than one month to go before the start of the Donosti Cup, the countdown has begun for a new edition that will bring together thousands of players and teams from around the world in San Sebastián.
It’s time to start packing your bag, your boots… and your excitement.
