Donosti Cup 2026 to Feature 60 Football Pitches and 50 Venues Across Four Territories
New facilities in Eibar and Ciboure strengthen a network of venues that extends across Gipuzkoa, Navarre, the French Basque Country and, for the first time, Bizkaia.
The Donosti Cup continues to grow both in the number of participants and in its geographical reach. In this 34th edition, the tournament will reach a new milestone with 60 football pitches and 50 venues distributed across four territories: Gipuzkoa, Navarre, the French Basque Country and, for the first time, Bizkaia.
Among the main novelties of this edition is the addition of new venues making their debut in the tournament. The first is the SD Eibar Sports City, located in Areitio (Bizkaia), next to the Gipuzkoan town of Eibar. These recently built facilities, where the LaLiga Hypermotion club trains, include three state-of-the-art artificial turf pitches.
The Stade Jean Poulou, located in the French Basque town of Ciboure, is also joining the tournament. This sports complex offers extensive facilities, including two natural grass pitches, further strengthening the tournament’s presence in the French Basque Country.
In addition, the recently renovated Anoeta Mini Stadium is now firmly established as the official venue for 8-a-side football and will host the finals in this category, taking place in fully modernized facilities.
The distribution of venues across four territories reinforces the international and decentralized nature of the Donosti Cup, allowing the tournament to be experienced simultaneously in multiple locations and sporting environments.
The organization emphasizes that this growth model would not be possible without the collaboration of the various municipalities, clubs and institutions involved, whose support is essential to the successful development of the event year after year.
