The final stage continues with the first Donosti Cup 2026 finals

Stadium Gal hosts the G14, G16, G18 and B18 finals today, as well as the presentation of the individual women's football awards

11 de July de 2026

The Donosti Cup 2026 is heading towards its conclusion. After the knockout rounds kicked off yesterday, the final stage of the tournament continues today with more decisive matches and the first finals of this 34th edition. The final 276 matches of the competition will be played today and tomorrow, deciding the champions in every category.

Stadium Gal in Irun, one of the historic grounds of Spanish football, will host the tournament's first four finals. The G14, G16 and G18 girls' 11-a-side titles will be decided on its pitch, along with B18, the oldest boys' category. The Irun stadium hosted Donosti Cup finals for the first time last year and, following that positive experience, returns this year as one of the main venues for the decisive stage of the tournament.

The day will also recognise individual talent in women's football. Stadium Gal will host the presentation of the awards for the tournament's top goalscorer and best goalkeeper, as well as the new Vicky Award, which makes its debut this year to recognise the most promising female player at the Donosti Cup.

While hundreds of teams continue their fight to reach the finals, others said goodbye to the competition yesterday. For them, the Donosti Cup continues off the pitch, with the opportunity to enjoy Donostia and Gipuzkoa, explore the city and make the most of the final days of an experience that goes far beyond football. We wish the best of luck to all the teams still competing in this decisive final stage.

Tomorrow will see the tournament's final big day of competition. All boys' and girls' 8-a-side finals will be played, in both Playoff A and Playoff B, alongside the remaining boys' 11-a-side finals and the girls' Playoff B finals.

Once the competition comes to an end, the Donosti Cup will bring its 34th edition to a close with the Closing Gala and the traditional Kursaal Party. Both events will take place in the late afternoon and evening, providing the perfect farewell to another edition of the tournament.
