Everything ready for Donosti Cup 2026
More than 500 people will work throughout the coming week to make another edition of the world's leading international youth football tournament possible.
The Donosti Cup 2026 is ready to kick off and, once again, thousands of young people from around the world will turn Gipuzkoa into the international capital of youth football. Behind every match, every accommodation, every accreditation and every activity is a dedicated team that has been working for months to ensure everything runs smoothly.
During the tournament week, more than 150 field delegates and assistant delegates will coordinate the matches, supervise the sports facilities, manage live results and ensure the smooth running of each matchday.
They are joined by our team guides, who will accompany many teams throughout the week, helping them during their stay, resolving any issues and acting as a direct link with the organisation. In addition, our online guides will provide support in several languages from a dedicated digital operations centre.
The operation is completed by the accommodation hosts, the Fan Zone staff, who will organise activities for participants and families, the Communications team, made up of photographers, videographers, presenters, writers and content creators, as well as the staff working in the Official Store and customer service.
Alongside them, nearly 250 referees, dozens of catering professionals serving around 50,000 meals throughout the week, and a comprehensive medical team deployed across the tournament venues will help ensure the well-being of all participants.
Together, they all share one common goal: to provide more than 15,000 participants with an unforgettable experience both on and off the pitch.
With everything in place, the Donosti Cup once again proves that its success is measured not only by the number of teams or matches, but also by the commitment, professionalism and enthusiasm of the hundreds of people who, working across different areas, make it possible for the tournament to remain one of the world's leading international youth football events.
