The guides begin their training with the aim of providing the best service to the clubs participating in the 30th anniversary of the Donosti Cup
Nearly 200 young people, mostly university students, will accompany the clubs from outside the Basque Country throughout the tournament
Last Friday took place the first meeting of the staff of the organization that will accompany the international and national teams during the week of the tournament, thus beginning the training period.
Approximately 185 young people, mostly university students, attended the first meeting at the University of the Basque Country. After a family photo was taken, the most relevant information about the tournament was presented to the new guides so that they could familiarize themselves with it.
At the same time, the tasks of the guides during the week were discussed, with the intervention of the veterans telling their experience, and finally the novelties that the 30th anniversary of the tournament will bring with it were pointed out.
In the coming weeks, the second meeting will be held, this time for languages, where more specific details about the functions of the guides will be collected. Later on, we will continue with the formation and distribution of teams, with more detailed information.
