CHUTapp becomes Main Sponsor of the Donosti Cup

The social network specialized in grassroots football strengthens its international positioning alongside one of the most prestigious youth tournaments in the world.

The Donosti Cup welcomes a new partner to continue growing internationally. CHUTapp becomes the tournament’s main sponsor for the next two editions, in a strategic alliance that brings together two projects with a shared vision: promoting grassroots football in a safe, educational, and inclusive environment.

In its 34th edition, to be held from July 6 to 12 in San Sebastián, the Donosti Cup will bring together nearly 1,000 teams from five continents. With nine boys’ categories, five girls’ categories, and one inclusive category, the tournament continues to be one of the world’s leading references in youth football. Throughout its history, it has served as a development stage for players who now compete at the elite level, such as Xabi Alonso, Mikel Arteta, Sergio Busquets, Irene Paredes, and Jenni Hermoso, among others.

Technology at the service of grassroots football

CHUTapp was created as a social network designed exclusively for the grassroots football ecosystem. The platform has been developed with advanced child protection systems, content supervision, and a digital architecture focused solely on real sporting activity: competitions, training sessions, and on-field actions.

Its goal is to provide players with a space where they can share plays, showcase their progress, discover new talent, and connect with a global community linked to youth football, moving away from the risks associated with general social networks.

In addition, it integrates tools such as smart tagging of actions (goals, saves, defensive plays, or fair play actions), content classification, and visual formats that make it easier for families and clubs to follow players’ development.

An enhanced experience for participants

Thanks to this agreement, CHUTapp will have an active presence during the tournament through various initiatives and activations. These include live match streaming via the app, the creation of exclusive content, and on-site experiences aimed at players, teams, and fans.

This collaboration reinforces the Donosti Cup’s commitment to innovation and to offering added value to all participants, incorporating digital tools that increase the visibility of grassroots football and enhance the experience both on and off the field.
