Registrations for the Donosti Cup 2026 open on September 16!
The 34th edition of the tournament, which will take place from July 6 to 12, will open registrations on September 16 at 10:00.
The Donosti Cup 2026 is starting to gear up. The organizers have confirmed that on Monday, September 16, starting at 10:00, the registration period will officially open for the 34th edition of the tournament, to be held in San Sebastián from July 6 to 12, 2026. The process is simple: teams must complete the form available on the official website and, once the application is validated, they will receive a pre-registration confirmation email. From that moment, they will have 10 days to make the first payment according to the conditions set by the organizers. The organization reminds that places are limited and reserves the right of admission to ensure harmony and the sporting spirit of the tournament.
In the previous edition, held in 2025, 900 teams from 30 different nationalities participated, consolidating the Donosti Cup as one of the most important international youth football tournaments in the world. The 2026 edition will feature 9 boys’ categories and 5 girls’ categories, introducing several key innovations. Among them, the opening to teams from outside Gipuzkoa in the B9, B10, and G10 categories, with a more recreational and educational focus, as well as the restructuring of the B19 and G19 categories to B18 and G18, allowing the inclusion of up to five over-age players to better adapt to the reality of the teams.
The organizers maintain the main pillars of the tournament: internationalization, promotion of female participation, and the growth of the Donosti Authentics Cup, the inclusive version of the competition. All of this while keeping the values that have defined the Donosti Cup from the start: fair play, equality, solidarity, inclusion, and sustainability.
With these innovations and the international appeal that the tournament generates every year, the Donosti Cup 2026 promises to be a must-attend event for thousands of young footballers from all over the world.
