Donosti Cup announces the renewal of its agreement with Joma
The Spanish brand reaffirms its commitment to the tournament for the third consecutive year.
Donosti Cup is pleased to announce the renewal of its agreement with Joma, a leading sports equipment and apparel provider, which will continue as the Official Technical Sponsor of the tournament for the third consecutive year. This collaboration strengthens the relationship between the two entities and ensures Joma’s presence in the main sporting and technical areas of the championship.
The Donosti Cup is much more than a tournament. It is a meeting point where, every summer, thousands of young players from different countries share their passion for football. For its 34th edition, a collection has been designed to reflect what makes the tournament unique: unity through sport.
Following this idea, and with a design that symbolizes coexistence, diversity, and the collective spirit that defines Donosti Cup, the official Joma products for the 2026 edition will be presented in the coming weeks. Among them, the official tournament ball stands out, featuring the FIFA Quality seal and designed to combine high performance with an attractive aesthetic. Made with durable, high-quality materials, it incorporates a 12-panel stitched outer layer with waterproof technology, ensuring long-lasting use without unnecessary weight, as well as a soft touch that facilitates precise striking. Alongside the ball, the official boots and tournament jersey will also be presented and will be available for purchase at the official store located in the Donosti Cup Fan Zone.
About Joma Sport Football
Football has been part of Joma’s DNA since its origins. The brand’s rapid growth since its foundation in 1965 by Fructuoso López was quickly evident in this sport. In the 1980s, Joma expanded into kit development, positioning itself at the forefront of technical innovation through high-performance fabrics.
During the 1990s, Joma again set trends by leading the football footwear market and revolutionizing the sector with the introduction of “Color in Football”, breaking traditional codes and leaving a lasting impact.
Since then, the brand has experienced constant expansion in major leagues and competitions, achieving great success with its sponsored teams. Today, Joma continues to grow, sponsoring over 300 professional teams and participating in the top competitions worldwide, including the FIFA World Cup.
Joma is currently present in the Big Five European leagues, the five most competitive and internationally recognized leagues: LaLiga (Villarreal CF and Getafe CF), Ligue 1 (Lorient FC), Serie A (Torino FC and Hellas Verona FC), Bundesliga (TSG 1899 Hoffenheim) and Premier League (Brentford FC).
Its leadership extends globally, covering top divisions in Europe through clubs such as HNK Rijeka and NK Istra (Croatia), Gil Vicente (Portugal), and RSC Anderlecht (Belgium). In the Americas, it dresses teams such as Juárez FC (Mexico), FC Motagua (Honduras) and Portuguesa RJ (Brazil). In Asia, Joma strengthens its presence in strategic markets like Qatar (Al-Rayyan SC), Kazakhstan (FC Kairat Almaty) and Turkey (Trabzonspor). In Africa, it is gaining visibility through Ittihad Tanger (Morocco).
This trajectory reflects Joma’s evolution in football, focused on innovation, performance, and internationalization.
