900 teams from 30 countries to take part in the Donosti Cup 2025!
Taiwan, the Dominican Republic, and Tanzania will make their tournament debut
The Donosti Cup has officially closed its registration with an impressive total of 900 teams from 30 different countries, reaffirming its position as the largest tournament in Southern Europe.
Among this year’s newcomers, Tanzania, the Dominican Republic, and Taiwan will be participating for the first time, bringing the total number of countries that have taken part since the first edition to 86.
The other countries represented will be South Africa, Germany, Andorra, Argentina, Australia, Belgium, Brazil, Canada, Chile, China, Spain, the United States, Ethiopia, France, Ghana, Honduras, Japan, Jordan, Mexico, Nigeria, Oman, Peru, Portugal, Russia, the United Kingdom, and Sweden.
One of the highlights of this edition is reaching the milestone of 200 girls’ teams, a significant achievement in the tournament’s history.
In terms of categories, B14 is the most popular with 104 teams, followed by B16 and B13, each with 92 teams.
For the girls’ categories, G16 leads with 61 teams, followed by G14 (56 teams) and G12 (40 teams).
The Donosti Authentics Cup, now in its fifth edition, will feature 12 teams from Mexico, France, Catalonia, and the Basque Country.
