Levante Badalona returns to the Donosti Cup with three girls' teams
After reaching the final in their tournament debut, the First Division club returns with three teams and the goal of lifting their first Donosti Cup title.
Fútbol Club Levante Badalona, one of the leading names in Spanish women's football, will once again be one of the stars of the Donosti Cup 2025. The club, currently competing in Spain’s top-tier Liga F, will participate this year with two teams in the G14 category and one in the G16.
In 2024, competing under their former name Levante Las Planas, the club left a strong impression in their debut, finishing runners-up in the G14 category after a thrilling final against Antiguoko KE. This year, now as Levante Badalona, they return determined to go one step further and claim their first Donosti Cup title.
Founded in 1983, Levante Badalona has had an extraordinary journey. Since 1998, the club has focused on developing women’s football, achieving three consecutive promotions that led them back to the First Division in the 2022/23 season, where they continue to fight to stay among Spain’s best.
Having professional clubs like Levante Badalona, Sporting CP, and SL Benfica at the tournament is an inspiration for the more than 3,000 young female players who will gather this summer.
