Information about the Covid-19

In this section we will regularly update the information regarding the coronavirus and the measures that we are going to adopt to offer a safe tournament at all times. 

As we have already showed on more than one occasion, the health and safety of all participants is and will be our highest priority. For this reason, we are and will be in permanent contact with the health authorities of the Basque Country to follow and apply the recommendations that they make at all times. 

In the last weeks the sanitary situation is improving in most countries and that invites us to be moderately optimistic, although logically there is still a long match ahead.

The pace of vaccination is unequal around the world, but the most important thing is that in most countries the effects of the first vaccines are already being felt and infections in the elderly have dropped dramatically. Moreover, it is expected that in April the rate of vaccination will multiply, which will further reduce the number of infections.

From the Donosti Cup we continue taking steps to be able to celebrate the tournament on the planned dates and with the best possible guarantees.

On the other hand, we want to remind you that all the fees corresponding to the 2021 Donosti Cup will be refundable. In other words, if a registered team for any reason wants to cancel their entry, they will be allowed to do so and fully recover all the payments made. This year we have been forced to cancel the 2020 Donosti Cup and all the teams that requested a refund of their fees received them without any problem.
