Opening Ceremony

The Opening Ceremony is the most important and exciting event of the Donosti Cup. A one-hour show that gathers more than 15,000 people in a unique atmosphere, featuring live music, choreography, a light and sound show, and the much-anticipated parade of delegations, where one team from each club will represent their country or region on the field.

  • Tuesday, July 8 – 21:30
  • Reale Arena

Team parade

  • One team per club may participate, with a maximum of 20 people.
  • The organization will ask each club in advance to indicate the team that will take part.
  • This team will receive wristbands during the age control, based on the number of registered players and coaches.
  • Wristbands are mandatory to access the parade.
  • All other players, coaches, and accredited Supporters can access the stadium as spectators by showing their accreditation.

Stadium Access (Doors open at 20:30)

  • COACH / PLAYER / AGENT Accreditation → Gates 9, 10, 11, 12
  • SUPPORTER Accreditation → Gates 1, 2, 19, 20
  • QR or printed ticket → Gate indicated on the ticket
  • VIP Experience → Gate 0
  • Premium Entry → Gates 1, 2, 19, 20

Parking

Accredited buses:

  • Anoeta Sports City: Open until 18:30 (limited capacity)
  • Illumbe Parking (500m from Reale Arena): Open from 18:30 to 23:30 (free)

Private vehicles:

  • Illumbe underground parking (500m from Reale Arena): Open from 19:30 to 23:30 (free)

Public transport reinforcement:

  • Euskotren will run two additional E2 trains at 23:30, one towards Hendaia and the other towards Lasarte-Oria.

Teams with dinner included

Spanish and French teams

  • Dinner: 20:00 – 20:45
  • Location: Miniestadio stands (Anoeta)
  • Access: Main entrance
  • Procedure: Show your dinner voucher to receive 22 picnics + 1 for the team leader. Eat in the stands, then go down to the track to line up for the parade.
  • Parade formation: 21:00 – 21:15
  • Access to the track: From the stands

Foreign teams (excluding French teams)

  • Dinner: 19:45 – 20:15
  • Location: Stands of Reale Arena
  • Access: Gate 14
  • Procedure: Show your dinner voucher to receive 22 picnics + 1 for the team leader. Eat in the stands and then go to the South Parking to line up for the parade.
  • Parade formation: 20:30 – 21:00
  • Access: South Parking (Reale Arena)

Teams without dinner included

Spanish and French teams

  • Have dinner on their own.
  • Parade formation: 21:00 – 21:15
  • Location: Miniestadio track
  • Access: Main entrance

Foreign teams (excluding French teams)
