Match day
To ensure the smooth running of the matches and to guarantee equal conditions for all participants, it is essential to comply with the following rules. We kindly ask coaches, players, and team delegates to read them carefully and follow them with responsibility and punctuality.
Punctuality
Punctuality is a core value of the Donosti Cup.
- All teams must arrive at the field at least 1 hour before the match starts, in order to complete all necessary preparations and avoid delays.
- Teams must be fully ready to play 15 minutes before kick-off, with warm-up, team talk and equipment already completed.
Important: If the team needs to get changed, they must ask the field delegate for the assigned changing room. Once changed, all bags must be taken to the bench. Leaving items in the changing rooms is not allowed, as other teams will use them during your match.
Player List
- By default, all players registered in My Team Info will appear in the official match report with the shirt number listed in the system.
- If there are shirt number changes, non-participating players, or a player joining from another team of the same club, the coach must inform the field delegate at least 30 minutes before the match.
Important: All players included in the player list will be considered as having played the match, so it is essential that this information is accurate and final.
Warm-Up
- Teams may warm up outside the field, in an area that does not interfere with the previous match.
- Each team must bring their own warm-up balls.
Entering the Field
Five minutes before kick-off, both teams must be ready for the official entry to the field. The procedure is as follows:
- Players line up next to the referee.
- The referee checks the ID wristbands of both teams.
- At the referee’s signal, teams enter the field in order, following the referee crew.
- Before the coin toss, the visiting team will greet the referee and the opposing players, as a sign of respect and sportsmanship.
Match Report
The Field Delegate will be responsible for completing the official match report, including:
- Player list
- Goal scorers
- Bookings and sanctions
- Any incidents, if applicable
After the match, the coach is strongly encouraged to review the report with the Field Delegate to ensure that all information is correct. This step is essential to prevent misunderstandings or future claims.
