Club Deportivo El Ejido, already qualified for the RFEF Second Division, confirm their participation in the 2021 Donosti Cup!
The Andalusian club that participated in the 25th anniversary of the tournament was proclaimed runner-up in B12 category and their player Iker Muro was the top scorer of the category.
It could not be otherwise, Andalusia will not miss their appointment with the Donosti Cup. Throughout the history of the tournament, dozens of clubs from this region that love football like few others have made us vibrate with their cheerful and competitive football.
In this edition, the Andalusian representative will come from Almeria, specifically from El Ejido. They are the Club Deportivo El Ejido, which after beating Huelva last weekend have mathematically achieved their place in the RFEF Second Division.
This Almeria club came for the first time to the Donosti Cup in 2018 with three teams. The three teams showed a great level and the greatest joy for the celestial club came from the hand of the B12 team that after beating the Tarragona Selection in the semifinals by 3-1 they sneaked into the final, although they had to settle for the runner-up position after losing the Lleida Selection by 2-0. In that same edition, the player Iker Muro San Martín won the Pichichi Trophy in the B12 category with 19 goals.
This time, the Club Deportivo El Ejido will participate in the Donosti Cup with their B12 and B10 teams.
