Three clubs will represent Singapore, which will participate for the third consecutive year in the Donosti Cup

Singapore, that small Asian country located more than 11,000 km away from San Sebastian, will be represented for the third consecutive year in the Donosti Cup. This time, in addition, there will be three Singapore clubs that will participate in the tournament: the Real Madrid Foundation (SSCA), which will participate in the B11 category, the ANZA Soccer Club, which will participate in the B16 category, and Singapore International, which will debut in the tournament with their B10 team.

The Real Madrid Foundation, 10 years ago, took the methodology and spirit of Real Madrid into a process of worldwide expansion that is leading them to create schools in most countries of the world, and especially in Asia where the hobby for football is growing by leaps and bounds. In their third participation in the Donosti Cup, they will come it with a selection of boys of 10 and 11 years old.

ANZA Soccer is a non-profit association that was created in 1976 and is made up of 950 boys and girls from 33 different nationalities all of them living in Singapore. It is the oldest expatriated youth soccer club with the largest number of Singapore players. They will participate for the second consecutive year in the Donosti Cup with a boys’ team in the B16 category. This team has recently been proclaimed champion of the largest tournament in Asia, the JSSL,7s in which the club ANZA Soccer has been recognized as the best club in the tournament after winning in four categories.

Finally, Singapore International, who will participate in the tournament for the first time with a team made up of players from several different clubs.
